Review of Indian Food Tours in Delhi

“An afternoon of great food...” Couldn’t think of a better way to explore Delhi. It is evident that Raj and Jaidev put time into researching and finding the best places to eat. The 5 of us had such a tasty afternoon – and the rickshaw traffic jam was like no other that we’ve ever been through in our travels!! Now we know there is more to Indian food than curries, samosas and poppadums!! The gol gappa were the tastiest we experienced our entire trip, the pomegranate kulfi sorbet was delicious, the charcoal baked biscuits so moreish! And… the daulat ki chaat… well we are still dreaming about it!! We hope to get back to Delhi one day to savour these all over again. It felt like an afternoon with friends showing you around their city, informative but with lots of humour – this makes a difference in the experience. The only downside to this tour is the advice to have only a bite or two (very difficult!!) at each stop so there is ample stomach capacity left… And yes heed the advice of other feedback and bring a large handkerchief or hold on for dear life to the wet wipe provided when you get to the chilli market. (ps: yes we enjoyed our wedding thanks J, all the best for yours!!) http://ift.tt/1KrADRK #cookingclass #foodwalks #tourism #foodtour #india #food #delhi #travel #cooking
