"“Amazing tour - great way to experience both old and new food and culture” I had an absolutely amazing tour with Rajeev. First, we visited old Delhi, where Rajeev took me to a couple of very old and great tasting places. He makes sure you try an incredible number of different items...all of which are great...and does a great job of making sure you have just enough to truly enjoy the item but not too much as to spoil your appetite for the rest of the tour. He does a great job of explaining the historical significance of the restaurants and families behind them, along with the food items themselves. Next, we made a couple of stops in central Delhi, where we had a few more modern dishes, as well as some from other regions of India. Once again, great explanation of why each item is the way it is, and each place was truly authentic. Every item was great, and I couldn't recommend the food tour more as a way to get to know the culture, while also having some awesome food along the way. As a tour guide, Rajeev clearly has a great deal of knowledge of many different spots, and was able to tailor the tour to my specific interests and tastes. Beyond that, he was able to fit in some sight seeing, was very accommodating for both pickup and dropoff, and was overall extremely friendly and made me feel completely comfortable everywhere we went. Within a few minutes, it felt as though I was exploring Delhi with an old friend, not on a paid tour. I can't recommend this experience enough, and only wish I had booked all of my other tours in India through Rajeev and his company as well. "“Best service, best people, best trip” Our trip to India last month was one of our best travel experiences till date. We spent 15 days in India traveling across New Delhi, Manali, Agra, Dharmsala and Mcleodganj. We loved the orientation plus food tour that we had in New Delhi upon our arrival, where we saw some beautiful places of the capital city of India as well as some really good Indian food. After that we traveled to Agra for seeing TajMahal and spent a day there. rest of our vacation was spent in Himalayan towns of Manali, Dharmsala and Mceodganj. All of these places are extremely scenic and peaceful. We loved walking on mountains, light trekking and long, thoughtful discussions with friendly monks. Manali had many beautiful sights and places to see and we wish to got there again very soon to explore it in detail. The hot water pond just outside town was a great relief for sore legs after hours of walking. Then there were some ancient temples surrounded by beautiful greenery and amazing sights of mountains. “A fantastic taste of Delhi” I was lucky enough to have a personal tour with Rajeev who knows and loves Delhi and has many friends and contacts throughout the city. We went to places, especially in old Delhi that I would never have found or dared to venture into. I tasted around 15 different foods and drinks all of which were delicious. The kitchens at the Sikh temple were a privilege to visit. Old Delhi was a joy - that part of the city where the tourists don't go and the locals get on with their lives and where smiles reach into you heart. Do this tour early on in your vacation as it will inform you greatly about Indian food.
